Are you excited?

You should be.

TikTok is offering a shiny new Content Posting API called Direct Post.

What is this new superpower, you ask?

Direct Post allows TikTokers (did we just coin that phrase?) to post video content from third-party platforms to TikTok. How cool and easy does that sound?

This handy new feature lets you integrate the TikTok app with third-party platforms and post content from one platform directly to your TikTok feed.

Now, you can whip up a video with an outside app, create captions, adjust audience settings, and all kinds of other stuff in the third-party platform, and then send that gem right to your TikTok with one-click integration. You'll even be able to schedule long-form videos with Direct Post through social media management platforms.

So, how does this new feat of content sharing happen?

Simple. Connect your precious TikTok account to a third-party platform, and TikTok will run it through the wringer (a vetting process to ensure worthiness) before granting sacred access to Content Posting API.

A whole bunch of platforms, including Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, and Twitch, have joined the list of those who integrate with TikTok.

Those are some big-name rock stars, with a bunch more on the way, so it looks like TikTok might be onto something here. Anything to make it easier for the 1 billion global TikTokers who want you to see their stuff.

Deepa Subramaniam, vice president of Creative Cloud product marketing at Adobe, says, "Now more than ever, publishing content in real-time has become a necessity, and creators of all skill levels need tools that can empower them with greater efficiency and without constraints. With the new Direct Post feature for TikTok available in Adobe Express and Premiere Pro, creators can continue to create standout content, but with increased speed and without any interruption to their creative workflows."

The upside here, of course, is that this sparkly new feature cuts down on all the grunt work of preparing and uploading content. Now you can post in real-time and devote all your energy to the next masterpiece that's going to help you scale your TikTok takeover.
